About Redleaf

Built by someone who prepared the files your firm signs.

Most outsourcing firms learned Canadian accounting from the outside. Redleaf was built from the inside — by an India-qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) who spent five years in a GTA firm doing exactly the work we now deliver.

The founder

Twelve years, three countries, one standard.

Redleaf's founder qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and spent five years in Indian practice before moving into New Zealand public practice for two years — and then five years at a mid-sized firm in the Greater Toronto Area, preparing compilation engagements and T2 corporate returns for owner-managed businesses.

"I know what a partner needs to see before they sign — because for five years, preparing that file was my job. Redleaf exists to put that file on your desk without you having to build the team that makes it."

Shared with permission — names withheld at each person's request.

I would've never let him go if he had not started his own. Glad you found your solace and wish you the best.

AnonymousManager, CPA Firm

Great work, great turnaround, great team!

AnonymousOwner, CPA Firm

Work understanding is good, and the delivered product goes straight to the senior reviewer or me and out within 2 hours.

AnonymousPartner, CPA Firm

I'm glad to have found him. The bookkeeping is done in accordance with T2s, which helps reduce pressure during the busy season.

The model, honestly

Canadian standards. Indian delivery. No pretending otherwise.

Redleaf's team works from our own office in India. We say that plainly, because our model only works with firms that value transparency — and because the location was a deliberate design choice, not a compromise.

The economics of Indian delivery are what let your firm add capacity without the overhead of hiring; the discipline of Canadian standards is what makes that capacity worth having. Every process at Redleaf — file structure, review protocols, security controls, training — was designed against the expectations of Canadian public practice by someone who worked inside it. The overnight time difference is a feature: files worked while Toronto sleeps are on your review pile in the morning.

What we don't do is equally deliberate. We don't serve your clients directly, compete for them, or appear anywhere in your client relationship. We don't subcontract. And we don't grow faster than our review capacity — every file passes founder-level review before it reaches your firm, and that gate scales with the team, not around it.

Value 01

Transparency over polish

You'll always know who does your work, where, and under what controls. We'd rather lose a prospect to honesty than win one to ambiguity.

Value 02

Quality over volume

We grow at the pace our review standard allows. A smaller book of delighted firms beats a large book of tolerated ones.

Value 03

Built to scale, designed once

Our security, HR, and quality systems were designed for the team we intend to become — so growing never means rebuilding the controls your firm relied on.
